Kurd, North West Persian runner, circa 1900 in good condition. Rug has mostly full pile, with a few areas of oxidized brown/black showing exposed knot loops (not all darker colors have oxidized). Has original braided selvedges, and flatweave and one end of the rug. Rug appears to have been “cut and shut” to lie flat on the floor. Oddly, two diamonds are partially done with fuchsine dyed cotton. I’m not sure if that is a later repair, or part of the original design. 9’2” x 3’5” (277 cm x 103 cm).
