Qashqai Persian, knotted circa in 1910 antique, collector's item, 260 x 185 (cm) 8' 6" x 6' 1" carpet id: K-4164
The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun wool and goat hair. The background and the surrounded large border are indigo. The center square medallion is sky blue, certain places the pile is uniformly short comparing with the rest, very finely knotted and elegant, soft and in its original shape.
