They date to the Late Horizon Period and were woven throughout the Inca empire and before by indigenous highland related groups. living in the region. a.d 1000 - 1532. Featuring a complimentary, discontinuous warp weave with plain warp face weave ground. This piece has an unusual palette with a maroon ground complimented by a lime green, indigo blue and white details. The condition is very good with a supple handle and soft alpaca fiber. This is a large bag measuring 11 x 13 inches.
