Baluch Rug, possibly Kashmar area Khorasan, Mid to 3rd quarter of the 19th Century. Very dark brooding tones of blue and deep rich red. Birds interspersed throughout the mina khani floral motifs. Some wear on some areas of the borders but otherwise good pile. 102 x 178 cm
