Antique Turkish kilim from the Obruk region with a classic prayer design. www.knightsantiques.co.uk
Size: 6ft 8in x 4ft 9in (204 x 144cm).
Circa 1900.
The kilim has excellent colour with an clear madder red field containing a totemic device, this is surrounded by indigo blue and a ivory minor border. The main border is filled with traditional Turkish designs found on kilims dating back 100's of years.
The kilim is in excellent condition with no wear or damage.
The kilim is suitable for normal domestic use.
The kilim has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
