Shirvan Caucasian, knotted circa in 1890 antique, collector's item, 335 x 129 (cm) 11' x 4' 3" carpet id: V-69
Thick pile in excellent condition, fine knotted, the warp and the weft threads are mixed with wool and cotton, the knots are hand spun lamb wool, the black knots are oxidized, the background is indigo, the surrounded large border is designed with two different "s", both edges are woven with 2cm kelim, the fringes have especial finishing, soft as an handkerchief, high standard quality and in its original shape.
