Antique Baluch rug. Great small size and uncommon aina gul field. Overall good pile with heavily oxidized blacks. All natural colors including lots of medium blues and small yellow highlights. Reasonably clean. Not the boldest design but as an admirer of Baluch weaving i find it very interesting and surprisingly attractive in person. Very difficult to photograph. Good age, ca. 1880 or earlier, 2’8” x 3’10”
