Two classic Incan period Chuquibamba complimentary warp woven textile fragments - parts of two different men's tunics. 1100 ad - 1500ad. Featuring eight pointed stars and interesting transposed warp patterning and discontinuous warps. Size: larger (red ground) 31 x 19 inches. Smaller fragment 8 x 16 inches. Fragmentary but supple and beautifully woven. Sold as is - together or individually.
