An early Mahal with impressive design and color. Many of the designs derive from Western Anatolian weavings especially those found in rugs from 17century Smyrna, 18th century Kula Demirci, and Kula Blossom rugs. There is a small hole found near the edge of the side border, please see the detailed photo, The area around the hole is firm making it repairable. How the hole got there is a mystery to me. It measures 4.3 x 6.7, i am selling the rug as found and as you can see, it has not been cleaned.
