i believe this Kurd runner to be of the late 19th century. The soft rosy red background of the field and the soft light blue main border with its flanking white minor borders should brighten up even dark hallways or corridors. The nicely formed botehs do not overcrowd the field as i have seen in other rugs with like design. The thinly beaded filler lines along the sides of the field together with its geometric borders give it a bit of a tribal feel. i have photos of each section of the runner which i could send to people interested. It measures 3.5 ft at its widest width and is 13.7 ft long. Selling as found and has not been cleaned.
