Qashqa'i small sofreh, 3rd to 4th quarter of 19th century. It may be what is referred to as a tea sofreh for use for a tea service. Fantastic saturated natural colors. Eight different colors plus a resonating camel wool field with natural abrash. One small repair in camel wool in the field but unnoticeable and a few equally unnoticeable small repairs along the green lale abbasi border. This is a simple piece but it hums. 44 x 69 cm.
