This Tulip Ladik/Fertek rug is divided in four sections with a central red prayer niche with a beautifully drawn lamp. On a gabled top section are five slender tulips displayed, that symbolises the five pillars of wisdom. a broad salmon coloured main border with stylised palmettes are characteristic features of Fertek area rugs. Condition: strong traces of ageing with some wear and repair. Particularly worn in the lower area, where the knees touch and rest in prayer.
