Antique Shirvan Kilim Oriental Rug
#8013 This late 19th century Caucasian Shirvan Kilim Oriental Rug measures 5’2” x 8’7”. It is woven in sparkling beautiful primary colors in a motif of stripes and bands with the background colors of ivory, red and indigo. Each one of these bands is decorated in various motifs. There are hooked squares in the ivory band. The main bands are separated by solid color bands which are separated with reciprocal borders in a chevron motif in a beautiful green, a deep red, navy, aubergine, ivory and pale tobacco. The selvedge at each end is different and both ends are fringed. The rug is in essentially perfect condition. It has complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $75.00.
