This is what i believe is an Ardabil or Transcaucasian mat rug that measures 2.5x3.3 ft woven circa 1900-1920 and has been woven on an all-wool foundation. This is a rare example as there are few Ardabil rugs woven during this time period and it has a unique design that has both Caucasian and Persian influence. This piece is in overall good condition, it has been lost its original salvages and has been repaired. This is a special piece that is both tribal and decorative and has a super floppy feel.
