(192 x 153cm) Circa 1880. a beautifully drawn rug with an elegant simplicity, the large central latch hook medallion is on a rich red / brown field containing simple box designs and floral rosettes. The border has good colour and is of the classic type found on Fachralo prayer rugs. The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium / low pile, there are a few scattered old re-weaves that blend well into the rug. Hand washed and ready for use or display. Ref: mt-025.
