It is lavishly illustrated with both carpets and ‘in the field’ photos, and is printed on high quality glossy paper. Arguably still the most comprehensive resource available with regards a variety of piled Bakhtiari carpets, it also includes detailed structural analyses section of over 300 featured carpets. The two above descriptive images come from the inside flap and the short forward by Aaron Nejad. Cloth-bound hardback with dust jacket, the book is in as new condition, looking as if seldom even been opened, and is signed by the author. 404 pages, 504 colour plates, size 25cm x 30cm x 3cm (approximately 10in x 12in x 1.25in).
