American Hooked Rug, ca. 1880; 2’0” x 2’9” / 61 x 84 cm. Geometric pattern composed of small diamonds-making six-pointed stars, and various cubes, with a deep blue border. For its age, good condition, some wear overall, more at the edges, abrasions to the jute backing structure. a few small holes along old fold-lines. Please see photos.
