Rare, smaller-sized Triclinium, with four sections. The central section with a variant of the Herati pattern on
an indigo ground; the other three fields bear interlocking stars, 12 point composed of overlayed squares, juxtaposed
with 16-sided cruciforms on red grounds. Both of these forms with sprays of various flowers or small palmettes.
The border of the top section differs from the others with larger, more angular blooms, on an indigo ground.
The central and side sections have small reciprocal flowers or hooked leaf meanders on ivory or rust red grounds
respectively. Possibly in the Kurdish manner.
All natural colors.
This carpet has overall light wear predictable for a carpet of 140+ years. Please examine photos closely.
