#7220 Antique Ningxia Throne back This circa 1850 Ningxia throne back measures 2’5” x 2’8”. It has a full on Dragon in blue on a yellow Ningxia ground. There are cloud motifs on either side of the Dragon’s head which is rather odd. There is a wave border at the bottom surmounted by the sacred mountain. This throne back has a hash mark in blue at the end of the dragon’s tail, which is something I’ve not seen before in a thrown back. The rug is full pile, although there is a teeny, teeny, teeny moth spot in the lower left corner. The ends and sides are mostly complete. The rug is clean and ready to go.
