This late 19th century Laver Kerman portrait rug of the Shah of Iran measures 1’10” x 2’3”. It has a circular framed image of one of the Shahs of Iran surrounded by a lovely floral decoration on a dark blue ground. It has a navy border of roses and carnations in three shades of red with smaller flowers in shades of blue on an ivory ground encompassed by two minor borders of flowers on a sky blue ground. This rug is in perfect condition. It has probably never been walked on. The ends and sides are complete. The rug is full pile. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $25.00.
