The pattern Elements of this Jhabla is related to a folk Tale.
The garden scene is filled with repeats of a variety of flowering trees, bridges,pavilions, kiosks, ornaments, fences, horned deer, the sacred fungus and a dog,Stereotypical chinese figures are depicted.
This kind of Jhabla was embroidered by Chinese artisans in the town of Surat in Gujarat for the Parsi women of that region.The Parsis are a Zoroastrian community in the Indian subcontinent. They are non Muslim Persians that were driven away from Iran when it became Islamic.
