Beautiful Antique Persian Saruk Farahan Rug, ca. 1920,

good bargain for limited TIME.
The brick-red field with overall design of stylised likes medallions, short columns and large floral sprays together wit delicate floral tendrils. In and indigo palmette and arabesque border between flowering vine, barber-pile and plain stripes.
Very nicely design rug and well balanced colours. Unusual design for this type although a large Sarouk influence. This rug has full pile, soft wool quality. Ends with short fringes secured. Selvages rebound. In general this piece is in very good condition.
Nice furnishing piece.
