Patola Gaji Silk Double Ikat From Patan Gujarat India 1900 C.This Patola Uses one of the most Rarely found designs called pan bhat which is originally the pipal leaf and has borders of Elephants,Flowers,Parrots and Dancing Girls which are rarely done on the both sides of the sari .the sari has band of zari treads marks the end intended to be seen where the sari is worn these were Traditionally used mainly by Brahmin and Jain Communities in Gujarat.Circa 1900.It’s Size is 147 cms x 390 cms the sari has 2 to 3 small holes and has a small tear near the pallu.
