Archaic turkman chuval. Local New England find. Presumably ersari with an unusually spacious ikat inspired design. Lovely natural colors with yellow highlights. Persian knotted open to the right. Unfortunately very rough, not taken well care of by previous care takers. Note you can still see the pair of hands and the birds lined up along the bottom. Early 19th c. 3’3 x 4’9”
