Caucasian rug. Has deep, dense pile like a Kazak, with design that seems more like Gendje. 88” x 42” (224 cm x 107 cm). Pile is very good, thick, dense---meaty rug. Sides and ends complete and in good condition. Five cord selvage finish is wrapped with yellow wool, except for a three-inch section on either side that is wrapped with black wool---yellow wrapping is in excellent condition; black shows some corrosion. Top end has flatweave doubly-folded up and hemmed. Bottom end has about an inch of pale-yellow kilim. Good strong colors--might brighten with washing. Otherwise it is a ready-to-use rug in great condition.
