Pre-Columbian Tiwanaku culture basket from Bolivia, circa 800-1100 ad, 5 inches high and 6 inches across. this basket is patterned by unique glyph-like or zoomorphic patterning extending over the body of the basket. Typical Tiwanaku baskets are patterned by a band of simple reciprocal patterns around the top of the basket. In very good condition.
