Qashqai Persian knotted circa in 1905 antique, collectors item, 300 x 228 cm, carpet id: P-5980
The black knots are oxidized. The knots, the warp and the weft threads are mixed with wool and goat hair. The background and the surrounded large borders are indigo, the four corners are brick, the five medallions are ivory, the selvages are rolled on one line with two different color, the edges are woven 1 to 2 cm kilim, very finely knotted, soft, the pile is uniformly short, the center part is slightly used, in acceptable condition and in its original shape.
