Antique Mahal runner. 3' 4" x 15' 2", c. 1920. Classic Herati design. Full pile condition, with 2 small areas of localized wear -- down to the knot collars (no exposed foundation). The width averages 40 inches, but runs up to 42" on one end and 41" on the other end. Nice wool and good dyes. Very colorful: i count well over a dozen colors, including: 4 blues, 3 reds, 2 greens, 3 tan/browns, blue-green, yellow, apricot and ivory; a very well put together palette. Sparkling clean - recently professionally washed.
