A very good example of a West Anatolian Karakecili rug with a traditional design, the rug has a the usual weave for these rugs and very earthy colour tones. Of particular note is the border design, notice how the right hand border changes into a totally different design. The rug has retained the original kilim end finishes. The rug has even wear and medium pile, there is some corrosion to the charcoal browns.
