Lori bag face, 4th quarter of 19th century. a great deal of mellow cochineal appears to be used in this piece giving it a stunning shimmering look. Wool is incredibly silky and lustrous. Knots are symmetrical and pulled to the right a bit and wefts are reddish brown in two shoots. There are very well done repairs on the two bottom edges. 30 x 26 cm.
