Rare very fine quality Vintage Dhakai sari from undivided Bengal probably presently Dhaka city Bangladesh of today, done around c .1850-1875 made from very fine Muslin cotton with double side pallu these saris are also called jamdani which is a Persian word where jam means flower and Dani means vase jamdani name was given bcoz of the floral design used in the saris . This sari has some stains and some repairs.the size of the sari is 410 cms x 101 cms.
