Uzbek napramach embroidered in tightly twisted silk on a plain cotton ground. The medallion design and the colours are very typical. It has been suggested that these motifs, which parallel those found in Greece, originally reached the tribes via the army of Alexander the Great The panel was lined in striped material, now just visible at the borders.
