#7650 Antique Agra Oriental Rug From India This Agra antique carpet from India measures 9’10” x 14’1” (302 x 430 cm). Hey, is this a fantastic rug, or not? Unbelievable color, color, color! This third quarter 19thcentury Indian carpet is beautiful. When i first saw it, it actually took my breath away and made the hair on my arms stand on end to the extent that the guy i was buying it from looked me up and down and said ‘i guess you like it , don’t you?’ It was so obvious that i couldn’t even bargain on the price! The Prussian blue on a deep ruby ground is astonishingly lovely. There really are only two colors in this rug. Several blue tones and deep ruby red with touches of lighter red for accent. The rug has excellent pile (although these rugs never had a thick pile, they are cut short). The rug is very finely woven. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. https://antiqueorientalrugs.com/product/7650-antique-agra/
