This late 19th to early 20th century metal Ottoman Table cover #8114 has a five star center medallion containing a tugra inside a circle outlined in Turkish writing on a tarnished silver field containing eight cartouches with moon and star images surrounded. There are cartouches with images of unknown structures possibly mosques in silver metal encompassed by a border embroidered with Turkish words. All is woven on a linen background. The four edges are fringed with a metal border. Beautiful perfect condition piece!
