Antique Afshar miniature khorjin (saddle bag) of very small size. www.knightsantiques.co.uk Circa 1900. Size: 2ft 3in x 11in. (69 x 29cm) Complete khorjin of this quality are quite scarce, this example is in outstanding condition with a central diamond medallion on a dark indigo blue ground. The bags are complete with madder red plain weave backs. Note the original decorative closing lappets and loops. Excellent condition with very slight wear and no repairs.
