Sejshour Caucasian, knotted circa 1900, antique, collectors item, 106 x 140 cm , id: RS-411
The black and the brown knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun wool, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the shirazi borders are woven on two lines with wool, the red color is extracted from the cochineal, the kelim of the two edges are rebuilt, in good condition, ivory background, the surrounding borders are designed with flowers, very soft as an handkerchief.
