Anatolian kilim with six medallions, 164 x 374cm, 17th/18th century. The condition is mostly excellent, however, one long side of about 5-6 inches width has been completely rewoven/reconstructed. i believe that this kilim is an archaic early version of its type. It lacks the clearly defined band with a row of small medallions that form the side borders on all other examples. Instead, the outer side"borders" blend into the adjoining field in an irregular way.
