Anatolian kilim with 9 saf-like bands woven in 2 pieces, 150 x 366cm, circa 1800. This kilim is in extraordinary condition, with no repairs or reweaving. i have not seen a similar kilim with a similar design and color palette. The wrench-like motifs in the minor bands are also unusual: such motifs more commonly appear as infilling motifs on the grounds of central medallion type kilims.
