Zejwa Kouba Caucasian, knotted circa 1880 antique, collectors item, 157 x 307 cm, id: K-4709
The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun lamb wool. The black knots are oxidized, the background and the surrounded large border are indigo, at the center four medallions typical of Zejwa design, the pile is uniformly short, one medallion is woven with Soumak technique, finely knotted, soft and high standard quality.
