Age: circa 1875
Size: 5′.3″x3′.3″ (160×99 cm)
The royal blue field shows a small lozenge lattice enclosing eight pointed stars in ivory,red,blue,yellow and black.At the outer edge of the field is a red keyhole pattern.The ivory main border shows colorful triangles with a nearly interlocking design.The flanking minor borders display sectional stripe and diamond oblique patterns.There are eight narrow barber pole lines in the border system.At each end is a beige flatwoven band followed by a knotted warp net.The handle is moderate and robust.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition.
