An outstanding example of this well documented group of prayer rugs, this rug is very will drawn with diagonal stripe in ivory, soft red and blue. The rug has a classic main border and rosette design to the guard stripes. The rug has a slightly softer colour palette to the lower end. A very closely related example is published in 'Caucasian Prayer Rugs' by Ralph Kaffel, Plate 72, page 126. The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
