Catalogue of an exhibition at the Moscow Kremlin Museums, 11 April – 27 July 2014. The exhibition presents precious jewellery artworks by Indian and European makers of the 17th—20th centuries. It consists of six sections that shed light upon the details of the jeweller's art in various regions of India, the history of interrelations and influences between the European and Indian jewellery traditions, and the production of the leading Indian jewellers of today. The items featured in the catalogue are drawn from the collections of the Musée Barbier-Mueller (Geneva), the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), the al-Sabah Collection (Kuwait), the National Portrait Gallery, and the Khalili Collection (London), from the collections of Amrapali Jewels, Bhagat, Cartier, Chaumet, The Gem Palace, Van Cleef & Arpels, and several private collections and art galleries.
