This circa 1870 Prepedil Kuba #8126 measures 4’3” x 6’0”. It has a Ram’s Horn design with 13 sets of rams horns. The ground is very asymmetrical with various idolized animals in yellow and ivory. There are some little men in the field. It has a very busy motif on a blue ground with an inner star border on an ivory ground with stars in blue, yellow and red. It has reciprocal barber pole borders in yellow, blue, camel and red. The major border is a Kufic border in ivory on a blue ground. There is no corner solution in all four corners indicating early design. The rug has good pile and complete ends and sides with a beautifully knotted fringe. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $75.00.
