This circa 1925 Art Deco Chinese #8187 handmade wool Oriental Rug measures 9’0” x 11’8”. The field is a deep ruby red with a geometric and floral motif. There are flowers growing from the upper left and the lower right in two shades of blue, ivory, green , purple, yellow and grey into the field. There are bouquets coming from the corners which practically meet in the center of the field. The major border is a very deep purple with some geometric figures in all four corners and floral motifs in ivory and tobacco. The rug is interesting and has lots of design without feeling crowded. This rug has full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $150.00.
