This third quarter 19th century antique Kazak-Gengi runner #8088 measures 3’1” x 10’9”. It has a tomato red ground with 8 ½ hooked medallions going up the center in yellow, green, mustard, ivory and dark blue. The major border consists of two shades of red, yellow, mustard and blue octagons on an ivory ground surrounded by two minor borders with a trefoil design. One border is on a blue ground and one border is on a green ground. There is minor wear in two ivory center medallions otherwise the rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete It is clean and ready to go.
