This circa 1920 Tabriz Oriental Rug #8132 measures 4’10 x 7’0”. It is a very lovely full pile prayer rug with an overall floral design. There is an urn with a huge bouquet of flowers at the bottom end coming into the middle of the rug flanked by two flowering trees in ivory with a bouquet of tulips at the base. The flowers are shades of blue, green and some pink. There are six pairs of birds in two trees. The spandrels contain big flowers in red and green on an ivory ground. The major border is a floral design of large flowers separated by smaller flowers on a blue ground. The minor inside border has flowers in red, green, orange, yellow and blue on an ivory ground. The outside border is on an drab olive ground containing flower motif. Look at the image and how fine this rug is! The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go.
