This circa 1890 Caucasian Kazakh #7320
carpet measures 4’4” x 7’6” (134 x 231 cm). It is multicolored on an abrashed brown field with lots of cute little asymmetric surprises in the field. The major border has eight pointed rhomboids with a triangular motif center in red, café au lait, saturated green, milk chocolate and deep blue on an ivory ground. This is quite well drawn. It has two minor reciprocal borders of flower heads in the same colors. This rug has good pile and complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go. It is a very nice Kazakh rug.
