This circa 1925 Art Deco Chinese Rug #7530 measures 9 ft 1in x 11ft 11in (277 x 338 cm). It has a pale raspberry field completely covered in water motif. The bottom of the field in the right corner has water lilies. The left corner has a floral motif coming out of a vase in the border. There is a group of four islands supporting flowering trees serving as a center medallion. To the right of this medallion is another island with a floral motif spilling into the border. The upper left quadrant has half a boat which is three stories high, bringing to mind the Marble Boat at the Summer Palace in the Forbidden City. The upper right corner has flowering branches spilling into the field from the border. The border of this rug is a striking shade of olive green consisting of groups of rocks and vases of floral motifs. This rug is in mint condition. It is full pile. The ends and sides are intact. It is clean and ready to go.
