Exceptionally beautiful, intentionally abrashed, Tibetan khaden with all natural dyes. Using the ‘gau box’ (or amulet) design and combining only two colours (brown and blue) with very imaginative mixing, the weaver has created a subtle but spectacular visual effect. Made in the early 1900’s it has cotton warp and wool weft and the size is 166cm x 92cm (approximately 65in x 36in). In excellent condition.
