a Lori-Bakhtiyari small saddle bag, 19th century. This bag is in an unusual side and diplays bird figures in an arrangement slightly resembling kufic borders seen on Seljuk and other old Anatolian rugs. The center of each side is embellished in a partial pole medallion like those in ancient Luristani bronzes. The workmanship is finer than most and the colors are all good. a couple of small holes on the back and the loop hole sections missing. 53 x 88 cm
